My dad and I got a used Bogner Uberschall today. It is truly the best amplification device I have ever had the honor of using. The lead sound is great. Zeppelin and Aerosmith-esque riffs sound truly bne crushing. The best part? The clarity. The gain can be turned all the way up, and the sound is distorted as hell. But an open triad doesn't sound muddy, and you can hear a difference between a G major or G major 7th. My telecaster and my Dad's PRS sound amazing through it.
This Uberschall isn't mine, but it looks the same, except more worn.

Those bogner's are near top of the line when it comes to amps. Only thing better is boutique amps. That thing must be unbelievably sweet. Have fun!

the only thing is they are basically boutique amps. how many do you see out and aboot? i have a buddy with the uber and an X along with a mako. take your pick. if you wanna do some serious sonic blasting these all do it. he is on pretty good terms with the guys that do both bogner and mako so he gets what he wants out of them as far as boutique.
the mako is really cool and i hardly ever use any but the first channel of the X. what a brute it is.

I think Dave Kushner from Velvet Revolver uses Bogner heads

look on the HC site before you ask such things. mako amplification and bogner are two different companies.
my buddy gets a friend of ours to make custom front panels for his amps. they have slots for ventilation and all but no big BOGNER on it. just a nice machined aluminum panel.

Cool Amp....
People should realize that an amp that gets a good clean sound at high volume is your best friend.
Distortion is played up way too much.
A bone crunching clean with a touch of distortion is much more pleasant to listen to at high volumes.
Too much distortion does not create the edge you need to take their heads off.
It does just the opposite...It clouds up your sound and can make it almost impossible to distinguish between notes..
