This guitar comes with a Duncan-DesignTM Detonator humbucking pickup in the bridge position and a single-coil neck position pickup. It also has Jason's specially designed graphic logo on the body signifying 'balance'. Also featuring a solid Basswood body with a bolt-on Maple neck and Rosewood fingerboard, dot inlays, and medium jumbo frets.

There are a handful of other versions of the Showmaster: the holoflake, the skull and crossbones, etc. And the others are equipped with dual humbuckers.

General Comments:
Went looking for a Larrivee or Guild but I played the Taylor and fell in love.

What do you especially like about this product?
Plays great, sounds great. It seems that all the sound comes out and is not trapped within the body like some acoustics. It has a very balances sound.

What do you dislike about this product?
I would have preferred to have the Fishman Pro Blender instead of just the Prefix EQ but it still sounds great plugged in.

General Comments:
This is the guitar you want for big projection. The electronics make it great for running through an amp or for recording.I spent months comparing Guilds,Ovations, Martins, and Taylors bringing friends with each time and without looking at which guitar I

What do you especially like about this product?
Nice fat sound, great sustain, excellent playability. Outstanding quality throughout.

What do you dislike about this product?
All Taylors are more sensitive to humidity in general, but this is only because they are of a higher quality and use solid wood throughout. Buy a Dampit and you will be fine. You should use one for any acoustic.
