It was the lowest priced Jackson bass on EBAY and the guy just happened to live in my home town so I grabbed it.

It looks nice and clean in the pic but it was pretty dusty and dirty when I got it. I cleaned off all the dirt and dust and then I did a truss rod adjustment, I sprayed the tone and volume pots with electrical parts cleaner and everything sounds fine now.

There are a few clear coat scratches on the front and if I'm feeling up to it I might try filling them in and sanding and buffing them out.

$125.00 ............. I'm happy with it.

The bottom line is ... I can get a great sound out of it.

Very nice indeed. Are the pickups active?

Not on this model. I have active EMGs on my other bass. The active pickups are nice as long as your amp has an active buffer switch at the input jack.
