Hi Guy’s,

Just a quick question about an amp i saw in a guitar shop. I bought a new Gretsch GL Corvette I had seen it a year ago but now had 50% off. Whilst trying out the guitar I plugged into a Boston tube amp. The amp had a really good sound and the guy at the guitar store told me he has the same amp at home.

I wasn’t going to buy an amp just because the guy in the store has one, but I thought I would check it out.

When I tried to find any information on Boston amps, I couldn’t find a thing. Google images throws up a few pictures of the same make of amp. But not the same model. Has anybody heard of Boston amps before? Do they have a website?

Finally found something on these amp's...... the one i played was a super series 30 OR 50. I was quoted 300 Dollars. I'm not at home now but when i go back, i will give the amp another go. I think i will look into other tube amps between 300 - 500 Dollars also, but if this one seems up to the job then i will give it a go.

I've never heard of them, but if it does the job for you, that's fantastic! Did you get it? What do you think of it now that you've had some time to drive it?

$300 is a good price for a quality 30 watt tube amp. In this stage for me, that's way too loud... I found some pedals for my Fender 40Watt Blues Deluxe that allow me to play at "2" on the volume setting...

Heck, even my 7/14Watt Vox is too loud... ahhhhhhhhh growing up.
