DigiTech® proudly introduces the addition of the GNX2™ to the growing family of GENETX™ based products. GENETX™ technology gives you the ability to "warp" the characteristics of any 2 amp and cabinet models into a completely new "Hypermodel". Now you have the ability to create an entirely new amp/cabinet combination that is uniquely your own.

To make this incredible tone shaping power even more flexible we have included Distortion Stompbox modeling. 10 of the most popular distortion stompboxes can be used in conjunction with any of the models and hypermodels, making the GNX2™ the most complete guitar processing system to date.

For individuals into digital recording, the GNX2™ provides an S/PDIF digital output allowing direct connectivity to these devices. You may no longer need outboard effects processing with an extensive library of studio quality effects including the Talker™, giving your guitar the ability to literally "say" what's on its mind. The GNX2™ has 64 user and 64 factory presets as well as Learn-A-Lick™ and Rhythm Trainer practice tools.

General Comments:
It's sounds awsome! You can make up to 64 of your own (or someone elses) signature tones.

What do you especially like about this product?
The wah sounds definitly is one of the GNX2's many great features.

What do you dislike about this product?
You can't make an extrmely good punk-rock tone. You can make a good one, just not a "blow any punk guitarist away" kind of tone.

General Comments:
If you are looking for an effects pedal that takes all the tone away from your guitar and makes it sound digital, almost like a computer, look no further. They don't call themselves "Digi"tech for no reason. If you want good sounding distortion, get a Marshall. Other effects? Stick with MXR and Boss.

What do you especially like about this product?
One of the only effects that I liked was the divebomb effect, but that isn't worth 300 bucks! The drum machine thing was pretty cool too. That's about it. It would have been nice if I could have downloaded the tones from Guitarworld, too.

What do you dislike about this product?
The distortion types on this pedal sound really bad, and if you want to tinker with it you have to mash so many of these small buttons. There was usually way too much contour and/or bass in the distortion so that, even at very low volumes, it made you head feel weird.
