This trio of Pro Tube amplifiers - Pro Reverb, Twin, and Concert Reverb - feature natural tube tremolo plus modern high gain and channel-switching - a first for Fender. These amps boast huge, clean Fender Blackface tones in the Normal channel, and savage distortion in the super-hot Drive channel. Fender's unequaled all-tube Reverb is the icing on the cake!

A 1/4 power switch and full-featured effects loop make these amps versatile enough for any stage or studio application. Each comes with a 4-button footswitch and a cover.

General Comments:
The Concert Reverb is a great, great amp. I tweaked mine by putting a 12AY7 in the V2 (distortion channel) so it breaks up more slowly and you get a lot more control out of the gain knob. With the clean channel, you can sound like the finest primo, vintage Super Reverb and with the gain channel, you can get good tube distortion--(with the tube I added, the very righteous '56 bassman distortion).

What do you especially like about this product?
The 4 10s are very sweet and move a lot of air. the 1/4 switch is killer because, in most applications, you don't need 50 watts of pure tube power --- it will blast the doors off in most clubs. But by switching to 1/4, you have 13 watts and can overdrive the power amp as well as the pre-amp and get the killer tone we all live for. I was leaning toward the Dr. Z which is also very, very sweet, but this amp is so solid and so versatile (and the tube reverb is so sweet) AND the good old original Fender tremelo comes in handy every so often. Sweet amp. The look is pure classic black-face. Unless you look close, you'll think it is a classic amp. The guys at Fender did an outstanding job on this one and for around $1100, you'd be hard pressed to do better.

What do you dislike about this product?
It is heavy, but comes with some high quality casters.
